General tender conditions:

( These conditions are only a  guideline and no document is bound to only these conditions)

 

 Tenders are evaluated in terms of the formula determined in the Preferential Procurement Policy Act, 2000.

 An original tax clearance certificate, issued by the South African Revenue Services (SARS), must accompany the tender document.  If no tax clearance certificate is supplied the, the tender will not be considered.

 Sealed tenders clearly mark in accordance with the notice are placed into the tender box at the municipal offices, on the corner of Scott and Mutual Streets Upington, before the closing date and time as stipulated in the tender.

 Tender will be opened on the closing date in the Committee Room of the Municipal Offices on the corner of Scott and Mutual Streets Upington.

 Late or incomplete tenders will not be accepted.

 Tenders sent by fax or email will not be accepted.

NOTICE TN037/2009 : CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE IMMOVABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT PRACTICE

 

Tenders are hereby invited from prospective service providers with a proven track record of infrastructure asset management in the municipal environment to deliver an Asset Register Report (ARR) with asset take-on data in terms of the ARR, an Asset Accounting System in according with the approved ARR, an Immoveable Asset Management Policy and Procedures, an Asset Management Plan for each service, a Comprehensive Municipal Infrastructure Plan, support in the application of the Asset Management Procedures, and, training in the principles and techniques of immovable asset management.  

 

Tender documents and the Terms of Reference (TOR) are available from the Head: Supply Chain Management, //Khara Hais Municipality, Private Bag X6003, Upington, 8800. Telephonic requests for tender documents and the TOR can be made to Mr Elton Esau at telephone (054) 338 7431.

 

Sealed tenders clearly marked NOTICE TN037/2009: IMMOVABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT PRACTICEmust reach the Municipal Manager or must be placed in the tender box before or not later than Friday 29 January 2010 at 14H00 and will be opened directly thereafter in the Committee Room of the Municipal Offices.

TN002/2010 : TENDER : APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER : DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY BASED ON THE MINIMUM INFORMATION SECURITY STANDARDS AS PUBLISHED BY THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT

 

Tenders are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider for the development of an integrated information security policy based on the minimum information security standards as published by the South African Government

 

Tender documents are available from the Chief Supply Chain Management //Khara Hais, Municipality Private Bag X6003, UPINGTON, 8800 or at telephone 054 338 7432. Tender documents will be sent by mail or e-mail and not by fax.

 

Sealed tenders, clearly endorsed: “TENDER TN002/2010 : Development Of An Integrated Information Security Policy”, must reach the Municipal Manager not later than Friday, 5 February 2010 at 14:00 and will subsequently be opened directly thereafter in the Committee Room, Municipal Offices.

 

A compulsory site inspection to discuss the extent of the project will take place on Thursday, 21 January 2010 at 14:00 in the Municipal Committee Room.
